Contributions to Herd: Length of leg, Height of rear attachment, Overall spread of ribcage, a telltale "Rusty look."
We are delighted
to top of off our "testosterone rainbow," with another new boy from
the Rosasharn herd. Though we love his name, (Thanks Margiana for letting us name
him,)
it got too confusing to call him "Somethin," in the barn, so he
got a new call name, Rusty. This
boy's grand-dam is one of the National Breed leaders for milk production,
Rosasharn's
Uni. His other paternal grand-dam is ARMCH Rosasharn's Eclipse *D
who was crowned
AGS National Champion Doe at age TEN!
We are thrilled to bring these lines into
our herd and are eager to see what they do for our
Hames & Axle girls. We
absolutely love what he's done for our growing herd!
His daughter, now at Merryfield's
Farm in NH, is a
beautiful example of the breed. His daughter, Dolce,
is breathtaking
as is his granddaughter, Gordia.
He's showing that trademark Rosasharn elegance
and combining beautifully with
other dairy lines
we have here at Hames &
Axle. |
