Sam is Asa's gift to us before he left us. Asa, died during the Winter of 2002, but he passed on his personality, sweet and friendly. Sam's long like Asa was, but with Splish's strong legs and feet, though we'd like to see him tighter at the elbow. He has impressive width in the escutcheon and barrel, which we're seeing in his offspring. His daughter, Frost, has a well attached udder, and is rivalling her mother, Mithral, as a top producer.We look forward to many more years with our "singing boy." (We don't know how the neighbors feel about that!:)
