Scotch was one of our first does born here. She has the sweetest face, and it carries to all of her kids. Though the pictures aren't very good, she is very uphill good skin, decent production, and an excellent brood doe. As she matures, her length of body and body capacity become very evident. This passes on her offspring, just look at LJ and Bourbon. Her only trip to the show ring was later in life, and she wasn't happy there at all. She'll stay home now with her mother and the rest of the herd. But her lineage parades on.

Scotch is truly the foundation of our herd. Her milk tests are proving quite good, very high in butterfat. She heads up our cream line of goats, along with her daughter Copper and Bourbon.

For 2008 Scotch will be bred to Hames & Axle's Sam Etrical for winter babies. This is a combination of our two main HXF lines, and look forward to seeing what comes from it.
