Surprize was our second doe, purchased as bred doe to Tom Thumb. She delivered wonderful triplets, who have been the foundation of our herd. Though she's oversized, that has not proven to be a problem for her offspring.

Surprize is most noted for her wonderfully milkable teats. She earned her star in 1998 by producing 541# of milk with 34# of butterfat, at only 2 years, 4 months of age. We're on test now, but Surprize was already drying up.

Surprize's line is continuing in milk right along side her. Her daughter Scotch, just became a 4*D, and her grand daughters out of Scotch, Bourbon and Copper Kiss, also received their *'s, making them 5*D's. We're up to 6*D with Jewel, and the "grand dam" Surprize still looks great!
