Xena
is a strong princess of a goat. Her grandsire is Wee Wittle Awan, the buck we
brought in
from Montana. Her great grandsire was Tom Thumb, so this little girl
gives us a chance to
combine some wonderfully diverse genetics. Timnah has proven
to give us some great milking
does, and we hope that Xena carries that tradition
forward, combined with the hybrid
vigor from her outcrosses.Xena is a dream to milk, with supply, long teats. Since she's only got one to feed, she's not showing
us a lot of production, but we look forward to getting a lot of milk from her in future years. Her udder isbeautifully attached with the highest escutcheon in the herd. Too bad she doesn't go to shows. |
