Awan brings diversity to our herd. . We brought him in from Little Critters Farm in Montana, (Thanks Linda Carlson) to bring his foundation lines and unique attributes to Hames & Axle Farm.

Awan goes back to the Leighstar line, one of the foundation lines of the Nigerian, but not shown very much. They bring a strong bone and easy kidding along with their extraordinary production. We wanted to diversify our bloodlines in order to secure strong hybrid vigor and improve our lines in the future. With all that weight to carry Awan is one of the sweetest kids we have, especially with that permanent smile drawn on his face!

Awan excels in barrel and length of body. He is very wide in the rear, but I'd like his elbows to be a little tighter against his barrel. As he matures he exudes power, something that is definitely noticeable now that he's clipped.
