Onyx was our first doe. When I bought her from Anne Petersen, I didn't even know Anne's reputation, I just knew I wanted a goat. Well, she delivered a beautiful set of twins that set us down a wonderful path. Onyx had a couple of years off, and doesn't have the most obvious heats, but we have been able to get some beautiful babies from her, including our beautiful Cinnamon.
This year's triplets have finally pushed Onyx's udder to show what it can do. Her teats are long and easy to milk, her rear attachment high, and though she has a small front pocket, she can certainly put in the bucket.
Unfortunately, Onyx escaped and got into some toxic plants here at the farm. Her future is still up in the air, but if she does pull through this, she will be retired to live her life out in peace. Thanks for getting us started girl, now just take it easy and get well.
