Busy Day
Posted by Farm at April 30th, 2007
Well, finally, after a whirlwind of a weekend I can tell you all our good news. Friday morning, at 2:30 a.m. Wangari delivered twin girls, unassisted. They are Jamba and Ria, sired by Wooly Dog Down Telaggio. Then, at 12:30 p.m. that day, Chamisoul delivered quads, Lyric, Dolce, Acapella and Solo, again all by herself. These two girls and two boys are sired by Rosasharn UR Somethin’ *S, and are long awaited. One girl and possibly one boy will stay here, but the others will be available for sale as breeding animals. We are thrilled at this outcome, as Chamisoul has a beautiful udder and held these four very secretly, barely looking as if she had twins. This morning we learned from Cheryle Moore-Smith that Chami’s sister, Ripple Effect, delivered healthy quintuplets the same day as Chami’s quads. We are so happy for Ripple’s owner and delighted with the outcomes from the cross of Old Mountain Farm Baby Splash with our Hames & Axle’s Little John.
Now we get of a break, about 10 days, before the next set of kiddings starts up. Hopefully we can take this time to get some beautiful baby pictures to share with you.
